“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem”     Psalm 122:6a

December 2017 Prayer Points

  1. Pray for Israeli military to prepare for the unexpected and predictable along the Syrian border. Pray the citizens will have time to evacuate from areas near the northern border. As God’s agenda advances, pray the people will steady their mind on Him who will keep them in perfect peace. Pray Jewish people will come into relationship with Adonai through Messiah Yeshua as they see how He delivers them.

Iran-Turkey military forces building up in Syria have the backing of Russia forming an alliance that Vladimir Putin claims provides stabilization to Syria. Israel is prepared to defend the northern border by any necessary means.  If she goes against Iranian outposts, for example in Damascus, Israel will have to deal with Russia. This is the prelude to the Ezekiel 38 war. Yet, Adonai allows Russia to come into Israel bringing destruction to Russia’s military to demonstrate His greatness and holiness so all the world will know He is Lord.

“The angel of Adonai, who encamps around those who fear him, delivers them. Taste, and see that Adonai is good. How blessed are those who take refuge in him.”   Psalm 34:7-8

“This will be in the acharit-hayamim (the end of days); and I will bring you against my land, so that the Goyim (non-Jew) will know me then, before their eyes, I am set apart as holy through you, Gog.”   Ezekiel 39: 16

  1. Please pray for elderly Jewish people. Pray for divine appointments with believers who will demonstrate God’s love for them through acts of compassion and/or friendship. Pray they have opportunity to come to faith.

It is difficult to comprehend the meaning of their lives when they see life isn’t what they thought it would be or have a hardened heart.

“Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare Your power to the next generation.”  Psalm 71:18a

  1.  Russian Jews – Pray for missionaries who speak Russian to share the Good News and disciple new believers. Also for a hunger for God’s Word. Pray those with addictions will be delivered and become overcomers through The Blood of the Lamb and word of their testimony.

More than 1.5 million Russian Jews have made Aliyah and many more remain in Russia where anti-Semitism is unchecked. They have no access to God’s Word inside Russia and yet, when they come to Israel and hear the gospel, they “see” Yeshua is Lord and accept Him as Messiah. Roughly 50 percent of Israeli Messianic believers speak Russian.

“To say to the captives, ‘Come out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’ They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill.”   Isaiah 49:9

  • Supernatural guidance in partnership with the field (city government, area director, property owner) in locating space to provide more hope to the Israeli people through the Hope Center
  • “Building on the Favor of the Lord” is our ministry’s theme this year and we need a continuing spirit now and in the future

“We thank you, God, we thank you–your Name is our favorite word; your mighty works are all we talk about.”

Psalms 75:1   The Message

Note:

During times when it seems the enemy has the upper hand and world events appear out of control, the people of God must be awake. God is allowing things to happen according to his prophetic plan. The outward circumstances seem alarming but it is not the time to be a spectator. Be encouraged. We unite in prayer and fix our eyes on Jesus, our soon coming King. Our Sovereign God, who intervenes in history to accomplish His will and advance His kingdom purposes, will respond to our petitions. We trust God that He hears the cry of the needy, He exalts the humble, and He rewards faithfulness. The recurring theme in the monthly prayer points is God’s heart to see that none should perish. Thank you for praying for the Jewish people.

“Get up! Cry out in the night at the beginning of every watch! Pour your heart out like water before the face of Adonai!  Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your babies, who are fainting away from hunger at every street corner”.  Lamentations 2:19
