June 2018 Prayer Points
Some of you may wonder how our missionaries in Israel are doing. Jacob’s Hope Director Brent recently spoke with our cohorts in Israel about safety concerns with the current events in and surrounding their country. Basically they said: Our God is with us. We are safe, have no concerns, and stand with our brothers and sister here.
“For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Isaiah 41:13 ESV
PRAYER: Lord, you are faithful. Remain with our brothers and sisters in Israel. May they feel your presence and protection. Be a strong tower, a shield and place of refuge. Give them wisdom, peace, comfort, and discernment as they lead their family and serve in communities. Even now, may more and more Jewish people recognize your peace upon believers and accept Messiah Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Jewish Ethiopians have access to a trade school where they may develop employable skills. This will allow them to better serve their families and improve the conditions of their community.
“Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.” Proverbs 4:13 ESV
PRAYER: Lord, you have plans to prosper your people giving them hope and a future. May they have opportunities to study marketable skills. Thank you for opening doors for employment and income to meet the needs of the family. Strengthen families and communities. Protect the people as they come in contact with believers and hear about the love Father God has for each person. Bring the Ethiopian Jews into relationship with you through Messiah Jesus.
Students at a Bible college in Buenos Aires, Argentina, are being educated in Jewish history and the truth that Jesus came to save all people, Jew and Gentile.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42 ESV
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for friendships you ordained long ago. We pray for believers to nurture genuine friendships with their Jewish neighbors and co-workers where they may discuss truth, your Word, during times of fellowship. Allow the deep love you have for your people to saturate believers’ hearts with a desire to pray for Jewish people, their neighbors and friends, to receive salvation.
Requests for Jacob’s Hope:
- Missionaries Michael, Judith and children will be traveling end of June into July

PRAYER: Lord, open doors for ministry opportunities that meet the needs of Jewish people and not what we think they need. Prepare the hearts of those being directed to work with Jacob’s Hope. Give us divine connections to form partnerships. Thank you for those who are supporters and will be supporters of our missionaries. Thank you for intercessors that join us to pray for and bless Israel.
