May 2017 Prayer Points

  1. Pray for Holocaust survivors, nearing the end of their lives, they will come to know Yeshua as Messiah.

Globally there are less than 100,000 Jews who were in camps, ghettos and in hiding under Nazi occupation who are still alive today and about 500,000 living survivors, including those who fled Nazi Germany according to 2014 data from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, one of the few international organizations that tracks that type of data. In Israel alone there are 180,000 survivors.

Give justice to the poor and fatherless. Be just to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.  Psalm 82:3-4

Repent, therefore, and return−so your sins might be blotted out, so times of relief might come from the presence of Adonai and He might send Yeshua, the Messiah appointed or you. Acts 3:19, 20

   2. Pray for Nicki Halley as she presses on exposing the truth of the anti-Israel stance to      United Nations Security Council members.

Since 2006 with the inception of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) there has been biased agenda against Israel. President George W. Bush initially refused to join the UNHRC due to its anti-Israel stance. Then in 2009 President Obama applied for membership and under his administration, the US took a leading role in the council. This paved the way for current US ambassador to the UN Nicki Halley to assume the position of the UN Security Council’s acting president for the month April. She repeatedly addresses the Israel bashing in the Security Council meetings asking instead that the council addresses the real Middle East human rights violator which causes instability in that region.

Deliver me from my enemies, O God: protect me from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from evildoers, and save me from bloodthirsty men.   Psalm 83:1-3

Wisdom calls aloud in the streets, she raises her voice in public squares. She cries out above the commotion. Proverbs 1:20, 21

    3. Pray for ministry needs of Jacob’s Hope.

*In Ethiopia we partner with a work-skills training facility within the Jewish population. To offer business development opportunities among this group, we hope to raise $50,000 to offer start-up loans/gifts.

*In Argentina, we are presenting a Bible college course on the history of Judaism and we pray for the students to have understanding and hearts to be open to the need for befriending the Jewish population.

*We are praying for more man power to join this ministry.

Yes, Adonai will give what is good, and our land will yield its produce. Psalm 85:13
