Israeli Leaders Need Prayer – November 2025 Prayer Points
Israeli Leaders need Prayer –
Israeli Leaders need Prayer
Whether it’s the military or government, the leader carries heavy responsibilities. A treaty made with the enemy necessitates God’s wisdom, as does, a broken treaty with militant groups surrounding your nation, and growing dissension among your citizens.
“If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.”
James 1:5 TLB
PRAY FOR:
- Israelis’ leaders to humble themselves and ask for God’s wisdom
- God’s direction and timing
- Godly counsel from advisors or friends
Prayers for Healing
The nation is experiencing joy as no one expected the living hostages to be released to Israel. However, the Israelis are struggling to come to terms with October 7th. Although the atmosphere is improving, many are unable to release the trauma caused by the event. Of the Nova festival survivors, 2600 have been granted disability. Suicides are increasing throughout the nation. There is the mental, emotional and financial stress on the soldiers and their families. Reservists have been called multiple times to serve on the front line during the past two years. Children and spouses are living with separation anxiety during long and frequent deployments. They are experiencing hardships; losing jobs and income, broken families and divorces.
“Adonai is near those with broken hearts; he saves those whose spirit is crushed.” Psalm 34:19 CJB
PRAY FOR:
- The hostages who experienced 2 years of starvation to recover mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
- Israeli citizens to look to Adonai for comfort, healing, and wisdom for dire circumstances
- Adonai to restore the years the locust have eaten (Joel 2:22)
Pray for the ultra-Orthodox Leaders
The required military conscription for Israeli citizens infuriates ultra-Orthodox groups. David Ben-Gurion, in 1948, exempted four hundred yeshiva students from military service as a temporary accommodation for rebuilding Jewish lives centering on the study and application of the Torah. This exemption arrangement has given rise to the ultra-Orthodox exerting influence in the areas of politics, laws, and prominent ministry positions, shaping national policy yet refusing to share the burdens of protecting the nation. This one issue unites many Israelis in animosity toward the ultra-Orthodox their leaders who direct more than six thousand youth to refuse military service.
“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” Proverbs 21:1-3 ESV
PRAY FOR:
- Open dialogue to begin again with the ultra-Orthodox to find an agreeable solution to share the burden of national security
- The ultra-Orthodox leaders to submit to the Lord’s leading and not their own motives
Jacob’s Hope
We also experience joy as hostages return home. At the same time, we lightly hold the peace treaty. We thank you very much for agreeing with us in prayer for their release. We appreciate you for continuing to lift up Israel. It is easy to become discouraged and feel like our prayers are a waste of time when the answer is slow. Be assured, the Lord hears each prayer and He answers. Time and again, He reminds us in His Word of this promise.
“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” 1 John 5:14-15 ESV
PRAY FOR:
- Discernment for partnerships in Israel
- Our MA Hannah to finish raising her financial support
- A fair tax bill for The Hope Center in alignment with the tax laws
- More workers with Jewish understanding to join our ministry team
It is our privilege to pray for your needs.
