Calm In Jerusalem
On the third anniversary of October 7, the calm of Jerusalem remains fragile. The multi-front war beginning on October 8, 2023, and the enemies within Judea and Samaria continue to threaten the calm of Jerusalem. The general election is weeks away. This also disrupts Jerusalem’s calm with extra security action required to prevent external manipulation of the election results. Praying for the peace of Jerusalem recently prevented a terrorist attack by an airplane, produces technological innovation to protect the nation, and stirs Messianic congregations to share the Good News. When we pray, we do not always see the results, but one day we will. Thank you for intentionally making time to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure” Psalm 122:6.
PRAY FOR:
- Israel’s national repentance.
- The enemies within and around Israel to be prevented from carrying out their plans of attack.
- Israeli citizens to seek wisdom from God before voting and prevent external manipulation of the election.
- The healing for the families who have suffered unimaginable loss.
- The individuals who were kidnapped by terrorists, tortured, raped, and held captive in tunnels that they will all find a future and a hope.
Jacob’s Hope
Many of the Messianic pastors who attended the Bible classes sponsored by Jacob’s Hope live and lead congregations in western Ethiopia. We support orphans from South Sudan who find refuge with these congregations and parachurch groups. We sent funds to rebuild a Messianic tabernacle destroyed by arson. The northern area of Ethiopia now has new escalating Tigre tribal attacks against the national government. We have missionaries traveling this month to the capital, Addis Ababa, a great distance from the conflicts.

PRAY FOR:
- Favor with the Ethiopian National Church, both Jewish and gentile pastors, and fruitful ministry with the local congregations.
- Travel protection, health and strength for our missionaries.
- An end to the wars in Ethiopia, Ukraine, and Israel.
- The multitudes of refugees from South Sudan to find Messiah when they find provision through the Ethiopian congregations.
- Protection and provision for our ministerial partnerships serving the Jewish people in Ukraine.
- Spirit-led community outreach through the Hope Center in Israel and favor with the local government.
- The Holy Spirit to encourage and comfort our Israeli missionary team.
