It’s Time for Aliyah
An agreement was made in September among the governments of eleven European nations and Canada to boycott Israeli-made goods from Judea and Samaria. One month later, in towns and cities around France, rioters carried a list targeting Jewish-owned businesses, breaking glass, looting, and setting fires. This terror is reminiscent of the brutality in the late afternoon of November 7, 1938 with attacks on synagogues, homes, and businesses. Two nights later, the mounting savagery against Jewish people began. This is remembered yearly on November 9th as Kristallnacht, the night of broken glass, the pogroms throughout the German Reich. There are various causes for the violence, but underneath it all, God judges nations according to their treatment of Israel. The European Jewish communities are shaking with fear for their safety. The governments cannot guarantee their protection. There is a place of refuge for the Jewish people. God is calling His people to return to Him, and He’s calling them to make aliyah.
“Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth.” (Isaiah 43:6-7 ESV)
PRAYER NEEDED FOR – Aliyah
- The Jewish business owners to receive God’s comfort and discern His will for their future.
- Wisdom for the European Jewish families as they contemplate and prepare to make aliyah.
- The rioters to repent and their salvation!
Forming the Coalition Government
Now that the Israeli election is over, the Israeli President looks over the newly selected Knesset members and parties based on political ideologies. He chooses the party head he believes to be most capable of forming a government to be the Prime Minister. This person has 30 days to put together a coalition of a simple majority, at least 61 out of the 120 member Knesset.
“I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, including kings and all in positions of prominence; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 CJB
PRAY FOR:
- The coalition government to come together without unholy alliances.
- The government to form within the 30 days.
- The Israeli leaders to honor God, protect the land, and lead the people into quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything.

- The Hope Center in Israel to remain effective in community outreaches, building relationships and sharing the love of Messiah.
- Our missionaries and their children in Israel, that they will be filled daily with the peace of Messiah that surpasses understanding, strengthened by His presence, and sustained by the hope that only He can give.
- Spirit-led ministry partnerships.
- Safe housing for the aging parents of our missionaries.
- Full funding for Akaya and Lee, our new team members.
