April 2017 Prayer Points
- Pray for the Good News of Yeshua (Jesus) to be revealed to His people.
We are entering the time of Pesach / Festival of Passover in a few days. The festival runs April 10–18 (Gregorian calendar) and Nissan 15 through Nissan 22 (Hebrew calendar). Each element of the Passover meal reveals Messiah. Let this be the year eyes open and stone hearts change to hearts of flesh to receive Yeshua.
Open my eyes, so I may behold wonders from Your Torah. Psalms 119:18
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what is the richness of His glorious inheritance in the kedoshim (saints/holy ones). Ephesians 1:18
Moreover I will give you a new heart. I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the stony heart of from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Ruach (My Spirit) within you. Then I will cause you to walk in My laws, so you will keep my rulings and do them. Then you will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers. You will be My people and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36:26-28
- Pray for rain: physical for irrigation, agriculture, tourism and spiritual for repentance.
Israel has had four straight years of draught. The Jordan River is shared by Israel and Jordan. Syria has tributaries entering the Jordan River and is planning to construct dams on some of these. There is a low water level in the Sea of Galilee and decline in water table in the Dead Sea.
You poured down abundant rain, O God. You sustained Your weary inheritance. Psalm 68:10
Now if you listen obediently to My mitzvot (commandment) that I am commanding you today − to love Adonai your God and to serve Him with all your heart and soul – then I will give rain for your land in its season – the early rain and the later rain – so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will give grass in your field for your livestock, and you will eat and be satisfied. Watch yourselves, so your heart is not deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them. Then the anger of Adonai will be kindled against you, so He will shut up the sky so that there will be no rain and the soil will not yield its produce. Then you will perish quickly from the good land Adonai is giving you. Deuteronomy 11:13-17
- Pray terrorism will not increase during Pesach / Festival of Passover.
The enemy sometimes will use a holiday for evil purpose.
Let God arise! Let His enemies be scattered! Psalm 68:1
