Praise the Lord – A time to give praise –
Praise the Lord – There is no doubt that last month we witnessed God’s intervention in the Middle East. However, Israel continues to confront battles in various places. Many Israelis are weary. They have been told to return to normal routines, but that seems impossible when tensions remain. So although a great victory was won in one area, the war is not over. Praise for the victory doesn’t need to be held until the end of the battle. Praise to the Lord can be raised in the conflict. Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands when they grew heavy in the battle against the Amalekites (Exodus 17). As intercessors for Israel, let’s continue to hold up the Israelis’ hands until their battle is won.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” Isaiah 61:1-3
PRAY FOR:
- The brokenhearted and those who mourn
- Those held captive by evil
- All hostages and/or bodies to return home
- Leaders, the military, and families
- The garment of praise to supernaturally replace the spirit of heaviness
Pray for Jacob’s Hope
General Council (GC25) is right around the corner. Jacob’s Hope ministry and missionaries will be present in the exhibit hall within the area of International Ministries. We look forward to connecting with pastors and youth. At times we are sharing information about this ministry, and other times we may pray with someone as led by the Spirit. Jacob’s Hope is again co-sponsoring a Shabbat dinner on Friday night at the end of GC25. Our special guest speaker is General Superintendent Doug Clay. It is a special ending to the week’s activities. The third Monday of the month prayer for Israel will again occur in July. Thank you for praying as the Lord is answering.

- Our GC25 activities to run smoothly with protection surrounding the convention center
- Our missionaries to have no fatigue or sickness plus travel mercies
- Divine appointments
- Third Monday Prayer for Israel to be Spirit led
