Queen Esther –
Purim and Intercession –
The book of Esther describes God’s intervention to prevent the annihilation of the Jewish people. Mordecai called on the people to pray. Esther received inner strength from the Lord while the king’s heart was being softened. Her plea, his decree, and events followed beyond one’s wildest imagination for the fulfillment of God’s will. The yearly remembrance/celebration of this event is globally occurring March 7. The annihilation of the Jewish people still reigns in the hearts of their enemies to this day. Like Esther, we intercessors are empowered for such a time as this. We praise our Heavenly Father for you who stand in the gap for the Jewish people in Israel and around the world. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s prompting to pray for these needs.

PRAY FOR:
- The peace of Jerusalem and protection over the nation of Israel
- Courage to those working for Israel’s judicial reform to stay focused on the task and to ignore the distractions
- Young people serving in the IDF; for inner strength, God’s protective hand upon them, wisdom and maturity beyond their years, and for salvations
- God’s timing in all decisions affecting the security of the Land
- The hearts of the Jewish people and gentiles to be softened to accept salvation in Messiah
Prayer for Jacob’s Hope
- The Messianic Bible students to continue growing in the knowledge, understanding and application of God’s word
- Cooperation to increase between Ethiopian Messianic congregations and AG churches
- Our partnerships in Ukraine, Israel and elsewhere will meet immediate needs and also produce fruit with eternal purpose
- Future global workers with Jewish understanding
- Spirit-empowered ministry
- Healing for our global workers, our families, prayer and financial partners
- Protection over our missionaries’ travels
