The Election –
The next election is schedule for October 27. Israelis vote for one political party from dozens of parties and do not vote for an individual. No single party governs alone. Although, before the general election, each political party chooses its own leader. After the election, the Israeli President decides which party leader appears most capable to pull together a coalition holding at least 61 of the Knesset’s 120 seats. This is a simple process, but it’s complicated to bring together many political parties to govern as one unified body. As a reminder, Israel endured five election cycles between 2019 and 2022 before a lasting coalition government was formed with many concessions made for the ultra-Orthodox support. Now, as the election approaches, excitement is growing as new political groups are emerging. One party’s leader is an Arab Christian who supports Israel’s existence as a Jewish state. Another potential choice is an ultra-Orthodox party that would target voters willing to break with the rabbinical leadership on the question of army service. These are only two of many dozens of political parties that will declare their platforms before the election.

PRAY FOR: Election
- A majority of citizens to seek wisdom from God for the electing the best political party to lead.
- A majority of emerging party leaders to be righteous and appointed by God. (Romans 13:1)
- The deceptive social and mainstream media groups to lose credibility.
- No weapon formed against Israel’s election to prosper, so the coalition government quickly comes together following the first election. (Isaiah 54:17)
Jacob’s Hope
Please remember those who are suffering with PTSD from the war in Israel following the 10/7 attack. The war continues, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and especially spiritually.

PRAY FOR:
- Our missionaries and their children in Israel, that they will be filled daily with the peace of Messiah that surpasses understanding, strengthened by His presence, and sustained by the hope that only He can give.
- Travel protection over our missionaries.
- The Hope Center in Israel.
