October 2017 Prayer Points – Pray
Pray for Israel and Jacob’s Hope
1. Pray for favor over Israeli dealings with cooperative, moderate Arab states. Pray Israeli business associations and acts of service in Latin America will bring honor to ADONAI. Also Pray Israel will be a blessing to the nations and He will bless those who bless His people according to the promise of Genesis 12:3.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.

The Bahrain King lifted the travel ban to Israel and officially condemned the Arab boycott of the Jewish State taking the lead for “shifting relations” between Arab states and Israel. During PM Netanyahu’s Latin America tour, he announced various agreements in the areas of agriculture, water, IT, cyber security and health with Mexico, Argentina, Paraguay and Columbia. Following the Mexican earthquakes, search and rescue teams, engineers and construction experts and medical teams were dispatched to assist.
2. Pray Israel’s ultra-Orthodox Jews will stop the persecution of Messianic believers. Pray there will be protection over believers and the authorities will enforce the law. Enable believers to sing your praises in sharing the sufferings of Messiah.
Mark and remember, God, all the enemy taunts, each idiot desecration. Don’t throw your lambs to the wolves; after all we’ve been through, don’t forget us. Remember your promises; the city is in darkness, the countryside violent. Don’t leave the victims to rot in the street; make them a choir that sings your praises. Psalms 74:18-21 The Message
Instead, rejoice insofar as you share in the sufferings of Messiah, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be glad. 1Peter 4:13 Tree of Life Version
Israeli law allows for personal freedom of faith yet for years Jewish extremists illegally persecute Messianic Jews. The ultra-Orthodox, specifically the Gur Hassidim of the Hasidic line originating from Ger, Poland, is known to intimidate with picketing, yelling, spitting, aggressive demonstrations, cursing. People are being injured. Their foul behavior is spilling over as threats to secular individuals who lease property to believers and business owners preventing them from employing believers.
3. Divine protection for all IDF soldiers.
This poor man cried, and Adonai heard, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of Adonai encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Psalms 34:7-8 Tree of Life Version
4. Pray Jews will have a personal encounter with ADONAI who invites them into relationship with Him through Yeshua the Messiah of Israel.
Then I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication, when they will look toward Me whom they pierced. Zechariah 12: 10[a] Tree of Life Version
Prayer requests for Jacob’s Hope
• For all Jacob’s Hope team members and families: traveling mercies, healing, strength, direction for life, courage to step out with confidence
• Discernment for potential future ministry among Russian-speaking Jewish people
• Prayer for sustainable strategies to build the Kingdom of God among the Jewish-believing communities
• The opportunity for other people to join with us in our efforts to bless the Jewish people and see them come to faith in the Jewish Messiah Jesus
• That the works of the enemy would be continually thwarted by Y’Shua as we move out in faith for the greater works in these days through the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) working in and through us
• “Building on the Favor of the Lord” is our ministry’s theme this year and we need a continuing spirit now and in the future
