Sept. 2022 Prayer Points: Fall Feasts Lev. 23:23-44

Fall Feasts – Leviticus 23:23-44

In just a few weeks the global Jewish community will enter the time of fall feasts. This is a highly spiritual time appointed by God with His instructions for observance. Near September 21 you will receive October prayer points covering the ten-day feast period known as the “Days of Awe” (9/26-Oct 5). This month provides a time of preparation leading into the fall feasts.

Perceptions of Yeshua (Jesus)

For the believer it seems impossible that the Jewish people do not recognize Yeshua as the promised Messiah. They read the Bible through different lenses seeing Yeshua as an imposter leading Israel astray. Religious leaders forbid reading Isaiah 53. Their worldview may also come from historical experiences. Christianity is seen as a religion of hatred. The Holocaust occurred in Christian Europe. Persecution and forced conversions are the outcomes of “Christian antisemitism”.

“In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they might not see the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God.”  2 Corinthians 4:4 TLV

PRAY FOR – During The Feasts

  • Removal of blinders to see the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah (2 Cor 4:4)

  • The Jewish people to encounter Yeshua themselves through Scripture, dreams, visions, or other means (Isaiah 53) During the Feasts

  • More believers to intercede to see Jewish people come to faith in their Messiah (Rom 10:1)

Prayer for Jacob’s Hope

Our missionaries will be in Israel September 1 to September 12. The purpose of the trip is to celebrate the provision of God by dedicating The Hope Center (our ministry’s community outreach center) to the people of Israel. Many years in planning with approvals, permitting, donations, and construction came together for this facility. We pray His name will receive all the glory for the great things He has done. Other purposes of the trip are to connect with ministry partners and show support for the Messianic community.

PRAY FOR – Feasts to be a great outpouring time

  • The peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6)
  • The Hope Center dedication on Sept 8
  • God’s anointing on Director Brent as he shares God’s message to the Messianic congregation
  • The missionaries’ connecting with partners for strengthening relationships and future opportunities to share the Good News and expand compassion ministry
  • Travel mercies, flights go as planned; luggage arrives with the missionaries and not later
  • Good health and strength for the missionaries

It is our privilege to pray for your needs.
