Purim – March 2025 Prayer Points
Praise and Prayer During Purim Festival Time
Throughout history, God protects and preserves His people who have overcome persecution, antisemitism, and genocide. His unseen protective hand was acknowledged recently when an attempted mass casualty event was disrupted inside Israel. Likewise the story of Esther recounts of the unseen hand of God preserving the Hebrew people from genocide. From sunset March 13 to March 14 is the celebration of Purim when the book of Esther is read; children, dressed in character costumes, will dramatize the story of Esther, Mordecai and Haman; and all ages will enjoy party food. The celebrations this year will be especially joyful as once again God intervened to preserve and protect His people.
We will praise our Lord for his supernatural intervention in ways we could not imagine during an atrocious time in world history. A few of the answers to prayer include preserving innocent lives as the conflict escalates, hostages being returned to families, opening eyes among the ultra-Orthodox, successful graduation celebration for the Ethiopian Messianic leaders, more Jewish people coming to faith in Messiah, salvations and church plants in Ukraine, improving health of our missionaries and protection when they travel, protection over our workers in war-torn areas, discipleship opportunities for Messianic soldiers. Let’s continue praising and praying because deliverance and victory belong to the Lord. (Proverbs 21:31 AMP)
