December 2020 Prayer Points – Let Us Consider
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24, 25 TLV
Pray for Discipleship -Let Us Consider
Consider the fact that nations and governments change when people receive salvation. They also continue to grow in knowledge of and are transformed by the Lord. Most importantly beyond salvation, it is important to have discipleship opportunities. A place where there are Jewish people making decisions to follow Yeshua is needed. Here are just two of the many training events occurring globally. Firstly, for the first time ever, a monumental event occurred in Ethiopia. The AG National Church uniting with churches and Jewish Messianic leaders for a training conference. Secondly, in Zimbabwe there are Jewish theology students who will soon conclude their education. In addition there goal of the graduate is to plant Messianic congregations.
PRAY FOR:
- Ethiopian believers in Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah) will see cooperation increase. Cooperation for fellowship, training, and evangelism
- Theology-trained Messianic pastors will plant healthy congregations throughout Zimbabwe
- The Messianic believers will seek knowledge and be a doer of the Word
- The Jewish believers in Yeshua will receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit
Prayers for the Holiday Season
The Jewish people celebrate the Festival of Dedication. It is also known as Festival of Lights or Hanukkah, on Dec. 10-18. Likewise Jesus celebrated the Festival of Lights (John 10:22, 23). Also He said He is the light of the world (John 8:12). Moreover the same God who worked miracles and supplied what the Maccabees needed to accomplish their mission is the same God who works miracles today.
PRAY FOR:
- God’s protection over Israel as her enemies strategically position weapons pointed toward her
- The Israeli prime minister position, as the Lord puts leaders into position and removes leaders
- Discernment for Israel’s military/security forces
- Normalization of relationships to continue between Israel and neighboring nations
- Protection around Messianic congregations and Jewish communities
- The salvation of more Jewish people for it points to the soon return of our King
- The new Russian and Ethiopian Jewish immigrants to Israel will assimilate. Above all find encouragement through Messianic congregations
- Those that are grieving will receive comfort; the lonely will experience the presence of the Lord
- The Lord to provide the needs of Believers
- The Lord will bless individuals and nations that bless Israel (Genesis 12:3)
Prayer for Jacob’s Hope
- Our donors, pastors and churches
- The Hope Center in Israel will fulfill the Lord’s purposes
- Our partnerships for Hanukkah outreach with Ukraine and Israel Messianic congregations will produce fruit
- Spirit empowerment for Jewish evangelism
- Also healing and health for the AGWM International missionaries
