August 2018 Prayer Points – Time is Short Before His Return

August 2018 Prayer Points -Time

NOTE:  There are only 3 weeks remaining for this period of itineration and my calendar is packed. Thank you for your patience this summer while I have been away. I will be returning to the Jacob’s Hope office later this month (the Lord willing) and have access to my computer and telephone instead of relying on my iPad for communication. You have given me grace. I appreciate each of you.

Shalom. – Debby

We all see world events indicating time is short before His return. Beginning August 1 until September 9 is 40 days leading up to the Jewish New Year. (Rosh Hashanah 2018 is from Sept 9 sunset to Sept 11 sunset.) Chinese Jews are uniting throughout the world to pray, fast and seek God’s heart with this purpose: 1) to pray for the revival of Israel; 2) to pray for the Chinese people and ethnic groups to walk in the will of God; 3) to pray for the building of God’s families by all tribes, all nations and all peoples.

“And it will come to pass, that from one New Moon to another, and from one Shabbat to another, all flesh will come to bow down before Me,” says Adonai. Isaiah 66:23 TLV

PRAYER:  Lord, we join our Chinese brothers and sisters in prayer for people everywhere. We pray for revival of Israel. Take hearts of stone and replace them with hearts of flesh. Draw Jewish people and ethnic groups into a closer walk with you. When they read the law, the law will convict of sin. When they seek you with their whole heart, they will find Messiah. We pray for the salvation of Jewish people throughout the world. We pray all tribes, nations and peoples will unite as one new man and bow down before You.

Requests for Jacob’s Hope:

  • All our missionaries have busy schedules and meetings in August. We need traveling mercies, protection, times of refreshing in the Lord, anointing for each meeting.
  • More intercessors for Israel

“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

PRAYER:  Lord, thank you for all you have done in the past, what you are doing today and will do in the future. Thank you for healing Wade and Debby, restoring strength to their bodies, and for the successful completion of the fundraising period for future mission work. Thanks for protecting all the missionaries during their travels and for drawing the Jacob’s Hope missionaries into a closer walk with you. Thank you for times of refreshing in your presence. Thank you for anointing our missionaries and giving them words to speak at each meeting, to each congregation, and divine appointment. Thanks so much for adding intercessors who continually pray for your people.
