Messianic congregations in Kiev and Odessa reach out to Jews fleeing from the on-going Russian siege in Crimea.
“Adonai is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, leads me beside still waters, restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.” Psalm 23:1-3
PRAYER: Lord, make provision for congregations in Kiev and Odessa as they minister to Crimean refugees. Give opportunities for fleeing Jews to meet and fellowship with believers. Remove the veils from eyes and lead Jews into relationship with Messiah Yeshua. Thank you for salvations and discipleship opportunities. Thank you that in Your presence Ukrainians find rest.
Soldiers in the IDF continually need us to call out to our Lord on their behalf.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me: Your rod and Your staff comfort me”. Psalm 23:4
PRAYER: Lord, meet the needs of the IDF military. You are always with them. Make the soldiers courageous when they go into difficult circumstances. You defend and guide them with your rod and staff so they can do what needs to be done. Thank you for keeping watch over these men and women.
Ethiopian Jews experience racism in Israel; anti-Semitism increases in Eastern Europe; globally liberal Jews are demanding changes to laws governing prayer practices at the Kotel (Western Wall) while conservative Israeli Jews fight to maintain status quo.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed my head with oil, my cup overflows. ” Psalm 23:5
PRAYER: Lord, it seems everywhere we look there is division and discrimination. You have the answer for every situation. Help your people to look to You for direction and confidence in the middle of adverse conditions. Thank you for bringing unity and cooperation. Thank you for quieting the storms assaulting Jewish people.
Requests for Jacob’s Hope:
- More intercessors for Israel
- All our missionaries have long distances to travel for conferences and meetings in July. We need endurance for busy schedules, traveling mercies, protection, good health and rest in the Lord.
- My husband Wade and I (Debby) are itinerating (raising funds) for the next term with Jacob’s Hope. We specifically need covering for physical protection and healing. We need just a few more meetings to fill our calendar.
“Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of Adonai forever.” Psalm 23:6
PRAYER: Lord, prepare our missionaries for their extensive travels this month to attend conferences and meetings. Thank you for protecting them. They will be meeting many new people. Give them health, endurance and a cheerful spirit. Thank you for ministry partnerships and friendships, and for intercessors who bless Israel. Thank you for your goodness and mercy.
